Jason Wright is a partner of Folawn Alterman & Richardson LLP in Portland, Oregon. Mr. Wright has been practicing for over 15 years and focuses his practice on insurance coverage, commercial litigation, and a wide range of business and insurance counseling and disputes.

Jason routinely defends insurers involved in complex insurance coverage litigation throughout the country in both state and federal courts. These actions involve a wide variety of claims, including transportation and construction risks, reinsurance transactions and arbitrations, organization formation and dissolution, environmental pollution liability, product liability, and construction defect liability.

Jason also represents a wide variety private businesses and owners assisting them in both transactional and litigation matters, including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, partnership dissolutions, shareholder disputes, contract disputes, trademark and patent infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, business interruption, and employment disputes.

Jason is an insurance coverage expert with decades of experience in complex insurance coverage litigation throughout the country in both state and federal court. These actions involve a wide variety of claims, including transportation and construction risks, reinsurance transactions and arbitrations, organization formation and dissolution, environmental pollution liability, product liability, and construction defect liability.

Jason also represents a wide variety private businesses and owners assisting them in both transactional and litigation matters, including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, partnership dissolutions, shareholder disputes, contract disputes, trademark and patent infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, business interruption, and employment disputes.

In his role as a business counselor and litigator, Jason has successfully prosecuted a misappropriation of trade secret case involving the development and application of the world's leading timing system used in every major marathon. Jason has also successfully arbitrated a $4.7-million-dollar breach of contract action for one of the largest car dealerships in the United States. Finally, Jason has successfully litigated a wetlands dispute against the Department of State Lands ("DSL") and was intimately involved in the creation of Senate Bill 1582 which resulted in establishment of an independent review of wetland delineation determinations by the DSL.

Jason's experience as well as his curiosity often lead him to set new heights for the Oregon legal community. In the past five years Jason has worked on an aviation products defect case resulted in the largest jury verdict in Oregon's history, helped to mediate a case against the Portland Police Department resulting in the largest settlement ever paid by the city of Portland, and successfully settled one of the most notable personal injury lawsuits in recent years.
