Jovita Wang is an associate of Folawn Alterman & Richardson LLP in Portland, Oregon. Her practice focuses on all aspects of complex civil litigation in state and federal court, including commercial disputes, professional liability, employment issues, insurance coverage, and construction defect litigation. A born problem solver, Jovita creatively approaches every dispute, finding winning distinctions and advocating for interpretations of Oregon law when necessary. Jovita has gained a reputation as a knowledgeable asset for her clients.

Before joining the firm in 2015, Jovita spent her first four years of practice with Miller Nash Graham & Dunn. While there, Jovita successfully represented a number of clients in complex litigation matters, including banking, construction, corporate governance, real estate, employment law, and education law. She has been recognized as a Rising Star by Oregon Super Lawyers since 2014.

Jovita graduated with her J.D. from University of Washington School of Law and a bachelor's degree from Emory University, magna cum laude. During law school, Jovita worked for the Air Force JAG headquarters office labor law branch in Washington, D.C. and served as a Rule 9 legal intern at University of Washington's Student Legal Services.

Dedicated to her community, Jovita is involved with many organizations and generously donates her time to worthy causes. Jovita speaks Mandarin Chinese fluently and in her free time, enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
